• 1-3 years of experience in environmental services, housekeeping, custodial work, or hospital facility maintenance required.

Responsibilities

• Performs floor care tasks (sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, shampooing).
• Collects, removes, and disposes of waste following hospital policies and guidelines.
• Handles soiled linens and replaces with clean bags.
• Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, halls, offices, and common areas under infection control standards.
• Responds to spills and contamination cleanups with proper disinfection procedures.
• Moves furniture and equipment for cleaning or relocation as needed.
• Monitors cleaning supplies usage and stores them safely.
• Reports maintenance and repair needs to supervisor promptly.
• Maintains cleaning logs and documents completed tasks.
