Job summary

Seattle Children's seeks a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain patient exam rooms, inpatient rooms, surgery areas, and the general environment to the highest cleanliness and infection-control standards.

You will demonstrate English language proficiency, safe handling of chemicals and waste, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital setting. Preferred candidates have a high school diploma and prior institutional cleaning or hospitality experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English. A demonstration of this ability is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform housekeeping in patient exam rooms, inpatient rooms, surgery areas, and general environment to maintain cleanliness and infection control.
• Demonstrate safe handling and removal of chemicals, equipment, and medical/hazardous waste; maintain environment at highest standards.
