Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System is seeking an Env Svcs Worker/Housekeeper to maintain a clean, aseptic hospital environment. Responsibilities include cleaning patient and non-patient areas, performing disinfecting tasks, and supporting safe, hygienic conditions for patients and staff.

Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma (preferred) and the ability to understand and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
• Able to follow written and/or oral instructions and record completed assignments.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service areas in the hospital according to assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust and disinfect rooms throughout the hospital.
• Assist with wall washing, window cleaning, light fixtures, upholstery, and drapes; clean vents and restrooms.
