Job summary

Arnot Health is seeking a Building Service Attendant for Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira, NY. You will perform cleaning and general environmental services to keep hospital areas sanitary and safe for patients, staff, and visitors.

Hours are 40 per week with a Monday–Sunday day schedule. The position offers a competitive wage range of $16.80–$22.02 per hour, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive healthcare team.

Qualifications

Must be able to read and understand both verbal and written instructions.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Cleans and services Arnot Health areas, moves furniture, equipment and supplies in and around the hospital in an orderly and sanitary manner.
Must be able to transport and set up furniture for meetings, run small extractors, floor machines and small burnishers.
Loads linen and microfiber carts and bins to predetermined par levels and completes deliveries at scheduled times.
Completes all functions associated with the linen processes.
Collects soiled linen and soiled microfiber products from designated areas and delivers to the soiled holding area.
Completes all functions associated with the soiled linen processes.
Must be able to clean the Morgue after an autopsy has been performed and the major portion has been cleaned.
