Responsibilities include cleaning, waste handling, linen transport, and monitoring equipment while collaborating with staff. Background checks per Florida law may apply, with benefits beginning Day One.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English (Required).
• Knowledge of environmental services equipment and chemicals used in the department (Required).
• Basic computer skills to include mouse and keyboard (Required).
• Ability to maintain equipment and work areas in clean, safe condition (Required).
• Ability to climb and work on a ladder (Required).

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned areas daily, including removing trash, linens and biohazard waste.
• Transports soiled linen and waste per department and hospital policies.
• Monitors and reports equipment issues, maintains equipment, and covers other areas as needed.
• Interacts with patients and customers professionally and documents daily assignments.
