Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a part-time Environmental Services worker to maintain cleanliness in patient areas and common spaces. You will clean daily, remove trash and biohazard waste, and ensure safe, well-maintained facilities.

Work includes day-weekend shifts with the address in New Port Richey, FL. The role requires ability to read and follow instructions in English, basic computer use, and the ability to lift and climb stairs.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and communicate in English.
• Knowledge of environmental services equipment and chemicals.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in clean, safe condition.
• Able to climb and work on a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas daily, remove trash and biohazard waste.
• Perform project cleaning of walls, entrances, windows, vents and sidewalks.
• Transport soiled linen and waste per department policies.
• Use PPE properly; monitor equipment issues and shortages.
• Document daily assignments and suggest improvements.
• Cover other areas as needed.
