Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Associate at North Shore Medical Center, Inc. to maintain a clean, safe hospital environment by performing cleaning, waste disposal, and equipment sterilization in accordance with infection control guidelines.

The role requires 0-1 year related experience (high school diploma preferred) and involves moving equipment, operating floor machines, and participating in department meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 0-1 year of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe application.
• Experience with cleaning tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties following schedules and infection control guidelines.
• Completes waste stream removal.
• Clean and service assigned areas as per procedures.
• Move furniture, equipment, and supplies within departments.
• Operate equipment such as floor machines and buffers.
• Attend a minimum of eight unit/department meetings annually.
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary patient and non-patient areas.
