Garrett Regional Medical Center in Oakland, MD is seeking an Environmental Services worker to maintain clean and orderly patient areas, offices, and public spaces. You will follow established procedures to clean rooms, restrooms, and equipment, report issues, and help ensure a safe hospital environment.

The role requires physical ability to mop, scrub floors, and move supplies; a high school diploma is required; 40-hour work week; compensation ranges from $15.00 to $22.18 per hour, with overtime

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow written work assignments.
• Able to schedule work based on hospital operations.
• Good interpersonal skills and tact

Responsabilités

• Inspects and ensures that all assigned areas are properly cleaned and in good repair; report problems to the supervisor.
• Cleans all assigned areas, including patient rooms, exam rooms, public areas, toilets, procedure rooms, OR rooms, offices and equipment, following established procedures.
• Removes trash from all assigned areas.
• Replenishes paper towels, toilet paper, and soap in all locations of assigned areas to assure adequate supply.
• Makes beds, following established cleaning procedures in all patient discharge rooms and on-call rooms as assigned.
• Maintains assigned equipment in clean, working condition, reporting problems and suggestions to the supervisor.
• Moves equipment, furniture, boxes, wash walls, spot carpets, etc. as assigned.
• Follows all safety and sanitation regulations.
