Job summary

Nationwide Children’s Hospital Inc is seeking a detail-oriented Environmental Services role focused on infection prevention and maintaining a clean patient environment. The position involves disinfection of bedsides, sanitizing surfaces, stocking Nurse Servers, and ensuring the unit remains safe and orderly.

Responsibilities include transporting non-controlled meds from Pharmacy to practitioners or secure storage, moving equipment, and supporting overall unit operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs extensive disinfection and sanitization of all surfaces.
• Stocks Nurse Servers at each bed side or patient room.
• Ensures overall environment is safe and free of debris and clutter.
• Transports non-controlled medications from Pharmacy to designated licensed healthcare practitioners or to secured storage.
• Assists in transporting equipment and other items.
