Qualifications

• Must follow oral and written instructions.
• Must communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff.
• Must use the proper tracking and communication tools utilized by department.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Preferred: 1–3 years of environmental services experience in healthcare or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains patient rooms, offices, public areas, treatment rooms and other areas daily.
• Stocks supplies and maintains carts and equipment in clean, working condition.
• Follows isolation and contact precautions as necessary.
• Communicates issues to supervisor and participates in process improvements.
• Provides accurate information and directions to patients and customers as needed.
