Northwest Community Hospital Environmental Services Technician II in Arlington Heights, IL, reports to the Environmental Services Manager to perform patient room and ancillary area daily cleaning, including isolation/terminal cleaning and equipment handling to meet standards.

Responsibilities include safe chemical handling, stocking supplies, maintaining a clean cart, and delivering a positive, service‑oriented environment through teamwork.

Formación

• Prefer prior hospital environment experience.
• Ability to interpret written and verbal instructions.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work on call and overtime including holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Perform daily patient room and ancillary area cleaning per standards.
• Clean isolation/terminal rooms and handle equipment used in patient areas.
• Dispose soiled linens and garbage; maintain cart and equipment cleanliness.
• Mix and use cleaning chemicals safely; ensure bottles are labeled.
• Maintain supplies of paper products, soaps, and other essentials daily.
• Communicate with area manager to ensure service standards are met and issues resolved.
