Job summary

Preferred Hospital Leasing Eldorado Inc. is seeking a dedicated hospital cleaning attendant to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff across hospital and clinic facilities.

Key duties include cleaning patient rooms and bathrooms, public areas, clinics, laboratories and isolation rooms, handling linen, restocking supplies and ensuring proper disposal of biohazardous materials. The role requires basic reading of English instructions, ability to operate floor scrubbers

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred but not required.
• No previous experience required.
• Must be able to read basic instructions in English on chemicals and signage.
• Must communicate with English-speaking patients within the hospital regarding cleaning and servicing of rooms.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and bathrooms (dusting, mopping, trash removal, linen changes).
• Clean administrative and office areas and all public areas.
• Clean all clinics and clinical areas (lab, x-ray, pharmacy, ER).
• Clean glass areas (windows and doors, mirrors) and dispose of bio-hazardous materials.
• Weigh, load and unload linens; replenish janitorial supplies.
