Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Environmental Services teammate for 1st shift. The role involves cleaning workflows, bed prep after discharge, and maintaining floors, fixtures, and surfaces in a healthcare setting.

You will follow a 7-step cleaning process, handle waste streams, restock supplies, and support room turnover while adhering to safety standards and facility protocols. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Related cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning tasks in assigned area following a 7-step process.
• Cleans fixtures, furnishings, walls, floors, and exterior surfaces.
• Empties trash, relines containers and manages waste as needed.
• Replenishes disposable items such as soap and towels.
• Moves and resets furnishings after job completion.
• Performs floor care including mopping, stripping, and refinishing as required.
