Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care in Jackson, TN, is seeking a dedicated Hospital Housekeeper to maintain clean, safe patient and non-patient areas inside the hospital, following 7-step cleaning processes and infection control guidelines.

You will participate in department quality/performance improvement activities, adhere to hospital policies, and complete assigned goals while ensuring storage rooms and closets stay orderly and compliant with departmental procedures. Training is provided upon hire.

Qualifications

• Knowledge, skills and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects areas by completing 7 step cleaning process.
• Practices infection control guidelines by adhering to universal precautions and practices safety precautions completing work assignments.
• Maintains equipment, storage rooms and environmental closets in orderly fashion.
• Performs all floor maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.
• Follows Service First principles.
• Fulfills Hospital required competencies.
• Adheres to hospital and departmental policy and procedures.
• Completes assigned goals.
