Atrium Health is hiring an Environmental Services Associate for the 1st shift in North Carolina. The role involves cleaning assigned areas, maintaining sanitation, and following infection control guidelines.

Schedule is 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with every other weekend, training beforehand. Starting pay is $18.85 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, tuition assistance up to $5,250/year, wellness incentives, and retirement contributions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience in cleaning or facilities preferred.
• Able to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs complete cleaning of assigned areas including dusting, sanitizing, washing, scrubbing and refinishing floors.
• Re-stocks restrooms and replaces light bulbs; reports repairs to maintenance.
• Removes waste and handles sharps containers; transports waste to compactors.
• Keeps equipment clean and reports equipment failures.
• Maintains safe working environment and complies with infection control guidelines.
• Attends in-service education and safety updates.
• Meets time schedules and deadlines.
