Job summary

Kettering Health Miamisburg is seeking an Environmental Services Worker II on the third shift to support patient care and safety by maintaining a clean and sanitary environment in the facility. Responsibilities include cleaning, floor care, and waste management in line with infection control standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or relevant experience), and DOT certification may be required. Candidates with healthcare cleaning experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience considered in lieu of diploma.
• 1–3 months or more experience in environmental services, housekeeping, or custodial work in healthcare or similar setting preferred.
• Annual DOT certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, floor care, and waste management tasks in accordance with infection control and safety standards.
• Maintain sanitary and welcoming environment throughout the healthcare facility.
• Carry out duties in alignment with Kettering Health's mission, vision, values, and B Safe program.
