Job summary

Joint Township District Memorial Hospital is seeking an Environmental Services Technician for the 1st shift (7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.). The role involves cleaning in Administration, patient care areas, and public spaces, along with proper waste disposal and supply restocking.

The position may require weekend work and physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent and prior cleaning experience, contributing to a clean and safe hospital

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cleaning experience.
• Able to work every other weekend.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Must have full body range of motion.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning in Administration, patient care areas, public areas, supply/storage rooms.
• Ensure proper disposal of solid and infectious waste.
• Order cleaning supplies and plastic liners as needed per area.
• Support department to meet hospital mission and patient needs.
