Advocate Health is looking for an Environmental Services staff member to clean patient care areas, restrooms, corridors, and offices. You will handle linen preparation, waste disposal, and supply stocking while maintaining a sanitary facility environment.

Position requires following written and oral instructions, ability to work independently, and strong customer service. 40-hour weeks with rotating weekends and holidays offered.

• Performs tasks without disrupting operations of clinicians, patients, public, and staff.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, offices, elevators and stairwells.
• Cleans surfaces including ceilings, vents, walls, doors and furniture; assists with spills.
• Dusts and damp mops floors in patient and exam areas and corridors.
• Replaces cubicle and window coverings.
• Gathers, disposes recyclables, trash, and medical waste per guidelines.
• Sorts, stocks and delivers linens; prepares soiled linen for transport.
• Cleans and prepares dismissal/transfer units and distributes non-medical supplies.
• Fills and cleans supply dispensers; inventories supplies; keeps closet organized.
