Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work day, evening or night shifts as assigned.
• High integrity, able to follow procedures.

• Exhibits professionalism at all times, understands appropriate workplace behavior/communications.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators and stairways in a clean, neat and sanitary manner.
• Assists visitors with directions whenever requested.
• Always introduce yourself to patients, families and visitors.
• Reports safety hazards as appropriate.
• Transport trash and hazardous waste to an appropriate disposal area.
• Replenishes supplies.
• Observe safety precautions at all times.
• Maintains age-specific safety precautions.
