Job summary

Dignity Health is seeking an Environmental Services Worker I to keep the hospital neat, sanitary, and safe for patients, families, and staff in Stockton, CA. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, stock supplies, and operate specialized cleaning equipment accurately, following safety policies and department procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 6 months experience in housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Completes assignment in a timely manner and in accordance with Department Policies and Procedures.
• Understands and adheres to all Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Maintains assigned duties in a clean, sanitary and secure manner.
• Ensures all assigned areas including, but not limited to, lounges, rest rooms, exam rooms, offices, etc., have adequate disposable supplies.
• Assures equipment is in operating order prior to use.
• Uses vacuum cleaner, housekeeping carts, floor care equipment, and steam sterilization equipment in accordance with manufacturer's operating instructions.

Education

High School Graduate or GED

6 months experience in housekeeping
