Qualifications

• Able to speak, read, and write English and follow standard instructions.
• Basic education and arithmetic skills; able to keep simple records.
• Fire Safety training within 90 Days.
• Preferred: 6 months janitorial experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Clean patient rooms and hospital areas according to the 12-step cleaning process.
• Sweep, dust, vacuum, and mop using automatic scrub/buffer equipment.
• Move furniture for room setup in patient and non-patient areas.
• Ensure equipment is working prior to use.
• Document and report items/equipment needing repair and hazardous conditions.
• Stock supply carts with equipment needed to complete shift.
