Job summary

Xanitos is hiring Full-Time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers at City of Hope Medical Center in Long Beach, CA. The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This role cleans and maintains orderly facilities on a health care campus, with responsibilities varying by account and client needs.

A high school diploma or GED is required. Daily duties include cleaning rooms, hallways, restrooms, dusting, waste disposal, and transporting supplies

Qualifications

• Vaccination against COVID-19 is a condition of employment.
• Experience in janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, halls, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and other areas.
• Sweeps and vacuums floors.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, windows, and surfaces.
• Empties wastebasket and transports waste to disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment between departments.
