Job summary

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a Part Time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper for 2nd shift at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point, NJ.

The role performs cleaning and sanitation tasks across patient areas, restrooms, corridors, and common spaces, with duties including polishing fixtures, dusting surfaces, and waste disposal. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, and offers an hourly rate of $17 plus a $1.20 shift differential; on-site hours 3:30PM–12:00AM.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.
• Flu vaccination as a condition of employment.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• Experience in janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floors; dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork; washes walls, ceilings, and surfaces.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash to disposal area; replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.
