Job summary

Responsibilities

• Interprets and transmits policy directives and recommends improvements.
• Supervises Environmental, Refuse, Grounds and/or Exterminating staff.
• Ensures compliance with Environmental Services policies and procedures.
• Coordinates training and in-service classes for staff.
• Schedules rounds and inspects hospital areas for safety and efficiency.
• Assists in staff work and vacation scheduling; provides support as needed.
• Trains staff on equipment use and cleaning methods.
