Memorial Healthcare System in Hollywood, FL is seeking a Supervisory role to oversee daily staff activities for an assigned shift within the Environmental Services team. You will assess service quality, develop staff, ensure policy compliance and guide performance across the department.

The position requires strong leadership, coaching and communication skills, plus the ability to manage staffing, conduct interviews, and resolve complex issues in a high-demand healthcare environment.

Competenze

• Requires critical thinking, effective communication, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• One (1) year supervision experience in healthcare or hospitality environment preferred.

• Assesses quality of services delivered and facilitates staff development programs.
• Ensures staff compliance with departmental and organizational policies, procedures and protocols.
• Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff.
• Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Determines, coordinates and supervises daily staffing assignments.
• Participate with interviewing and selection of new employees.
• Effectively manage department technology including bed management programs.
• Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels.
• Leads the handling and resolution of complex issues and complaints.
