Responsibilities

Performs floor care such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, and shampooing as needed.
Collects, removes, and disposes of waste following hospital policies and regulatory guidelines.
Handles soiled linens and replaces with clean bags and proper containment.
Cleans and sanitizes patient rooms, restrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas.
Responds to spills with proper disinfection and safety practices.
Moves furniture and equipment for cleaning or relocation.
Monitors supply usage and ensures safe storage.
Communicates maintenance or repair needs to supervisor.
Maintains cleaning logs and documents completed tasks.
Performs other duties as assigned and maintains regular attendance.
Complies with all policies and standards.
