Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintains clean and aseptic conditions in assigned area by vacuuming, scouring, dust mopping, high dusting, making beds, removing trash/linen, washing walls and ceilings.
• Uses vacuum and cleaning materials effectively in daily work.
• Handles detergents and germicides following safety procedures.
• Maintains neat station, cart, closet and equipment; reports equipment repairs as needed.
• Keeps logs of activities and completes required paperwork at shift end.
• Collects soiled linen or distributes clean linen as needed.
