Qualifications

• Proven housekeeping/janitorial or healthcare cleaning experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn healthcare cleaning standards and infection prevention practices.

Responsibilities

• Cleans patient rooms, common areas, and other hospital spaces following established procedures.
• Maintains infection control and sanitization practices as per hospital policy.
• Operates cleaning equipment safely (vacuum, floor scrubbers, buffers) and handles cleaning chemicals according to safety procedures.
• Assists in maintaining a clean, orderly environment to support patient safety and comfort.
• Performs duties in a manner that adheres to hospital policies and patient confidentiality.
