Responsibilities

• Cleans and services building areas using germicidal solutions.
• Loads service cart, transports supplies to work area.
• Sweeps, mops floors and vacuums carpets; spot cleans as needed.
• Cleans restrooms and replenishes essentials; maintains sanitary conditions.
• Collects and removes trash; sanitizes garbage cans and areas.
• May collect and transport hazardous waste in closed containers.
• May transport soiled and distribute clean linen.
• Arranges furniture for meetings and events.
• Returns unused supplies to janitor closet in an orderly manner.
