Advocate Health in Milwaukee is seeking a housekeeping role to clean patient care areas, restrooms, offices, and public spaces to maintain safety and infection control standards. Position requires following written and oral instructions, working independently, and delivering excellent customer service.

Physical tasks include lifting, bending, and operating cleaning equipment; on-site work with hospital facilities.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans patient care areas, surgical areas, restrooms, conference rooms, lobbies, offices, elevators, and stairwells.
• Cleans surfaces including ceilings, vents, walls, doors, furniture, beds, fixtures, and windows; assists with spills.
• Dusts and damp mops floors in patient and exam rooms, corridors, stairwells and restrooms.
• Replaces cubicle and window coverings.
• Gathers and disposes recyclables, trash, and medical waste; follows infection control guidelines.
• Sorts, stocks and delivers linens and prepares soiled linen for transport.
• Cleans and prepares dismissal/transfer units and distributes supplies.
• Fills and cleans supply dispensers.
• Inventories linens, cleaning and paper supplies and orders as needed.
• Reports mechanical failures or unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
