Saint Luke’s East Hospital is seeking a Lead Housekeeping Associate to provide frontline leadership and operational oversight within Environmental Services. You will oversee daily staffing, conduct quality inspections, coach team members, and ensure a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.

The role emphasizes infection prevention, regulatory compliance, and staff development, with a daytime shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and rotating weekends/holidays as part of a full-time

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to coach and develop Environmental Services staff.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily Environmental Services operations on first shift.
• Assign work areas and staff based on priorities and facility needs.
• Monitor staffing coverage and adjust as needed to maintain service levels.
• Serve as primary point of contact for operational concerns and workflow issues.
• Conduct daily rounding to ensure cleanliness, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Provide coaching and corrective action when quality gaps are found.
• Train, orient, and mentor new environmental services team members.
