Job summary

TouchPoint at Compass Group USA seeks an experienced Assistant Director of Environmental Services II to lead a 100-person EVS team at a 400-bed facility. You will partner with the Director to manage budget, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive service excellence across environmental services and housekeeping operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum three to five years EVS/Housekeeping experience in hospital setting
• CHESP certification desirable
• Excellent patient services or customer service experience
• Experience with Federal & State healthcare surveys
• P&L accountability and contract management experience preferred
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and internet

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Environmental Services operations to ensure safe, compliant patient coverage
• Lead training and development to maintain competency and high quality care
• Maintain sanitary, attractive, and orderly department environment
• Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate department functions
• Conduct management meetings; coordinate with other departments
• Keep department inspection-ready and compliant with regulations
• Maintain strong client relations across departments
• Participate in Community Works and external training
• Promote growth and development of staff and department
• Implement program changes to enhance community desirability
• Foster employee creativity and innovation with Community Works
• Ensure security for client property and funds
