Boston Medical Center is seeking a General Cleaner in Environmental Services to perform daily cleaning tasks across the hospital, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting areas to maintain a sanitary environment.

This role operates cleaning machinery, maintains supplies, and prepares patient rooms after discharge, ensuring rooms meet hospital standards and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with hospital cleaning procedures preferred.
• Ability to read and follow English instructions.

Responsabilités

• Maintains daily cleaning of assigned areas by following hospital Cleaning Procedures.
• Operates vacuum cleaners, floor scrubbers, burnishers, buffers and other power machinery as instructed.
• Maintains stock of housekeeping supplies and keeps closets and equipment organized.
