• Ability to understand and follow verbal and simple written instructions.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, and stretch for long periods.
• No formal education requirements; ability to read English.

Responsabilidades

• Vacuums, sweeps, mops, and buffers offices, corridors, stairs, walls, and furniture.
• Uses extension poles, ladders, and scaffolds to clean walls/ceilings and change drapes/curtains.
• Shampoos and changes rugs when necessary.
• Cleans patient rooms to minimize infection risk.
• Collects/transports linens to laundry and returns linens to areas.
• Gathers and disposes refuse as directed.
• Cleans public and patient bathrooms, disinfects surfaces, replenishes supplies.
• Moves furniture and equipment as needed during cleaning tasks.
• Maintains supply rooms for housekeeping throughout the facility.
• Uses a variety of manual and mechanical equipment.
• Performs housekeeping in specialized areas (trauma, ICU, cardiac, ER) with sterile conditions.
• Cleans areas with scientific equipment, laboratory supplies, and animals.
• Cleans isolated rooms and disposes of contaminated equipment.
