Christiana Care Health System is seeking an Environmental Services team member to help create a clean, safe, and healing environment for patients, visitors, and caregivers. This role supports infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory compliance through professional cleaning and disinfection.

Duties include cleaning rooms and clinical areas, using hospital-grade cleaners and PPE, handling waste, maintaining equipment, and delivering courteous service.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Basic proficiency with smartphones, emails, and mobile work systems.

Mansioni

• Clean and disinfect patient rooms, isolation rooms, clinical areas, and high-touch surfaces.
• Safely use hospital-grade cleaning chemicals, disinfectants, and PPE.
• Collect, transport, and dispose of trash and waste.
• Maintain cleaning equipment, carts, and workspaces in good order.
• Respond to work assignments and department communications promptly.
• Identify and report safety hazards and infection prevention concerns.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
• Participate in required training and competency programs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
