Job summary

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus is seeking an EVS Associate I to maintain cleanliness of facilities, restock supplies, and sanitize rooms. You will care for equipment, report damages or safety issues to your Supervisor, and follow department policies and procedures to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• Preferred High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect floors using hospital-specific equipment.
• Clean and sanitize surfaces, including over-bed tables, counters, furniture, toilets, urinals, sinks, showers, walls, floors and mirrors.
• Clean and sanitize vertical surfaces such as walls, ceilings and windows.
• Ensure cleanliness of high dust surfaces like picture frames, vents and doorframes.
• Inspect rooms for proper cleaning and report safety or maintenance issues.
• Remove trash and linen, clean receptacles, and prepare for next use.
• Restock paper, hand sanitizer and hand soap supplies.
