Job summary

OSF HealthCare seeks an EVS Tech I to support a clean, safe hospital environment. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, ensuring disinfection and infection prevention to promote a healthy workplace for staff and visitors.

In this hourly role, you’ll respond to daily workflow needs, maintain timely room cleans, and follow established standards to support patient throughput and facility operations.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 6 months’ experience in janitorial, housekeeping, or environmental services position.
• CNACC certification or CHEST certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote a healthy workplace through disinfection and infection prevention.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, ensuring an organized and disinfected environment for employees and visitors.
• Ensure timely room cleans and adapt daily workflow to meet hospital/discharge flow needs.
