Job summary

Allegheny Health Network's Forbes Hospital is hiring an Environmental Services Associate (Full-time, day shift) to perform patient room cleaning and general housekeeping across departments. You will clean patient rooms, discharge areas, offices, and ancillary spaces, restock supplies, and support emergency cleanup as needed.

We seek reliable team members who can follow written and spoken instructions, read and write clearly, and operate cleaning equipment safely.

Qualifications

• Minimum: FIT testing may be required, but provided upon hire as needed.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Basic reading, writing and effective communication skills.
• Ability to operate power equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs timely patient room cleaning in patient rooms, offices, departments and ancillary areas.
• Cleans daily including discharge cleaning, cycle cleaning, and office cleaning to support daily operations.
• Cleans assigned building exteriors and refills dispensers; collects receptacles.
• Completes project work such as wall washing, trash removal and handling biohazardous linens.
• Assists with hospital emergency cleanup and adheres to safety and policy standards.
