Job summary

Mass General Brigham's Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital is hiring Environmental Services staff to keep hospital areas clean, safe, and orderly. Responsibilities include daily cleaning, discharge cleaning, bed making, curtain hanging, and sanitizing equipment while following 8-step cleaning procedures and safety guidelines.

Requirements include a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and English proficiency; flexibility for day shifts, weekends, and holidays, with onsite work at 1133 Centre

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and converse in English to perform job safely and effectively.
• Performs cleaning tasks, uses proper chemicals, and follows safety guidelines.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and discharge cleaning across hospital areas.
• Make beds, hang curtains, and clean patient equipment.
• Follow 8-step cleaning procedures and wear safety signs/cones as required.
• Respond to spills and assist in maintaining a sanitary environment across departments.
