Job summary

MarinHealth is seeking an Environmental Services Associate to perform daily cleaning in public areas, patient care areas, and supporting spaces. You will follow established policies to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in line with Joint Commission standards.

Required, or preferred, include a High School diploma and at least six months in healthcare or similar settings; IAMTAC certification within 30 days of hire is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school level or equivalent preferred.
• Six months in acute care hospital or similar setting preferred.
• IAMTAC certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Ability to work cooperatively with supervision and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Dust mop floors and dust surfaces as required.
• Wet mop floors with approved disinfectants.
• Vacuum carpets in assigned areas.
• Spot clean walls and fixtures with appropriate products.
• Restock paper products and supplies daily.
• Disinfect fixtures and beds according to procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of patient rooms and shared spaces.
• Assist with linen distribution and waste removal.
• Adhere to universal precautions and hospital policies.
