Responsibilities

• Follow department and hospital policies and procedures while performing routine cleaning duties.
• Clean and service patient rooms, offices, corridors, bathrooms, fixtures, and equipment; manage linen and curtains.
• Move furniture and clean operating suites per procedures or special instructions.
• Use a variety of cleaning equipment and materials to perform duties.
• Perform dry mopping, washing, vacuuming, dusting and cleaning in nursing areas and related spaces.
• May be assigned to different areas as required by schedule changes.
• Lead Environmental Assistant may coordinate staff in supervisor's absence and prepare daily reports.
