Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Milton is looking for an Environmental Services Assistant to maintain assigned areas in line with hospital policies. You will clean patient rooms, offices, corridors, bathrooms, and equipment, move and replace linens, and ensure waste disposal is carried out safely.

The role is full-time with an evening shift, 40 hours per week. You may be asked to work weekends/holidays and overtime as needed to maintain hospital services.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare cleaning is preferred.
• Ability to follow universal precautions and safety rules.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service patient rooms, offices, corridors, bathrooms, and equipment.
• Handle linen and waste, restock supplies, and maintain clean entrances and glass.
• Assist with post-mortem transportation and isolation area cleaning as needed.
• Coordinate with supervisor and lead environmental staff as directed.
