Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking Environmental Service Associates to clean and maintain patient rooms, public areas and service areas. You will provide customer service across the hospital, following safety and efficiency standards and completing required paperwork.

Responsibilities include handling cleaning requests, proper equipment use, stocking areas, and performing additional duties as needed to support hospital operations.

Qualifications

• No Degree or Diploma required.
• 16- and 17-year-old individuals may be considered with a valid work permit.
• 18-year-old individuals in high school do not need a diploma/work permit.
• HS diploma/GED preferred for individuals over 18 and not in high school.

Responsibilities

• 40% Receives cleaning/maintenance requests from automated system, daily sheet, or verbal direction and completes assigned duties.
• 20% Follows direction and proper usage of equipment; reports needs through work orders and paperwork.
• 10% Stocks carts and areas, including linen distribution.
• 10% Willing to perform other duties including storeroom maintenance to meet standards.
• 20% Delivers high level of customer service within OhioHealth to patients and customers, prioritizing safety, quality and efficiency.
