Job summary

The Horsham Clinic is seeking an Environmental Services Worker/Housekeeper to maintain a clean and safe patient care environment in accordance with OSHA regulations. Duties include cleaning patient rooms and common areas, sanitizing equipment, and responding to ad-hoc requests via walkie-talkies.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 year of relevant experience; strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse teams are valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of hospital or hotel environmental service experience preferred.
• Ability to prioritize and organize daily workloads.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Sensitivity and awareness of diverse groups of employees and patients.
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned areas such as patient rooms, common areas, waiting areas, hallways and offices.
• Clean and maintain carts and equipment, replenish supplies, collect waste, sanitize garbage receptacles.
• Disinfect rooms, furniture, equipment and supplies using appropriate processes and germicides.
• Perform other housekeeping duties, turn mattresses, clean unit/department kitchens, sweep and mop as needed.
• Work efficiently and effectively under little supervision.
