Job summary

St. Luke's University Health Network in the Bucks County area is seeking an Environmental Services Aide to maintain clean and sanitary patient rooms, corridors and assigned areas throughout the hospital.

You will follow department procedures, use approved cleaning supplies, scrub and mop floors, dust furniture and ensure kitchen and dining areas are kept in a hygienic condition. A high school diploma or GED is preferred and hospital housekeeping experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–6 months of experience in hospital housekeeping preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares patient rooms, beds and assigned areas in a timely and sanitary manner.
• Uses cleaning supplies and chemicals per departmental procedures.
• Scrubs, mops and buffs floors; dusts and polishes furniture.
• Cleans glass, fixtures and restroom areas; removes trash to designated stations.
• Follows all safety and sanitation requirements and attendance expectations.
