Job summary

• Three to six months of experience in housekeeping in either a hospital or institutional setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and prepares patient rooms, auxiliary rooms and other areas in a timely and efficient manner.
• Cleans and buffs floors, dusts furniture, cleans glass and fixtures, and removes trash.
• Follows all sanitation and safety procedures and schedules; attends department staff meetings.
• Maintains assigned areas in a neat, clean and sanitary condition.
