Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Bilingual/sensitive to cultural issues.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to communicate clearly with nursing, administration and physicians.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values to others.
• Performs routine cleaning of patient rooms, units and common areas to high standards.
• Completes work assignments in a timely manner.
• Uses and maintains cleaning chemicals and supplies per procedure.
• Interacts professionally with patients, families and staff and provides directions as needed.
• Follows infection control practices and safety guidelines.
• Works varying shifts (day/evening/night) as assigned.
