Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months customer service related work experience required.
• Must successfully complete a training program provided by the Environmental Services Department and achieve competence in all duties.
• Excellent Customer Service and communication skills. Ability to read, write and perform basic math. Ability to work independently. Able to perform as part of the patient care team.

Responsibilities

• Follows department procedures related to cleaning and operations to ensure a safe and clean environment in all areas.
• Operates equipment and performs cleaning and trash removal duties.
• Works as part of the patient care team and demonstrates flexibility and adaptability.
• Reports discrepancies and maintains cleanliness daily.
• Supports hospital operations and patient safety through diligent environmental care.
