Job summary

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience in hospital or industrial settings preferred.
• Experience operating heavy housekeeping equipment.
• Ability to read and write to understand directions and warnings on cleaning supplies.
• Interpersonal skills to interact respectfully with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follows work schedule and completes daily/weekly tasks to meet cleanliness standards.
• Removes trash and disposes of needle boxes per procedures.
• Maintains floors, carpets, and surfaces; reports equipment issues.
• Assists with cleaning patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas.
• Inspects and replaces curtains, maintains supplies and equipment.
• Attends department trainings as required.
