Licking Memorial Health Systems (LMHS) is seeking an Environmental Service Assistant for housekeeping in the Event Center. Hours vary and location is Newark, OH. Primary duties include cleaning, floor care, trash removal, and restroom sanitization in a hospital setting.

The role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions. GED or HS diploma preferred, with potential GED support from LMHS.

Qualifications

• HSD or GED strongly preferred.
• LMHS will assist with GED costs if pursued within one year of employment.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.

• Maintenance of cleaning equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, mops, and scrubs floors.
• Vacuum carpets and operate carpet extractor and floor scrubbers.
• Collects and disposes of trash.
• Cleans assigned areas, dusts, mops, sanitizes and replenishes supplies.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms; replenishes soap and products.
